Today I want to let people know about our Write by the Rails Rising Writers Workshop coming up on March 29.  We are very excited to be working with Cathy Hailey from the creative writing program at Woodbridge High School in this endeavor.  Workshop information is below. Watch for the registration form on our website next week.  We will also have bios for the presenters on our website next week.

Rising Writers Workshop

For teens and young adults

In conjunction with Woodbridge Senior High School’s Center for the

Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Creative Writing Program

Writer and artist Linda S. Johnston enjoys combining history, art, and nature in her writing.  She began reading reading pioneer diaries in 1986 and never stopped.  Her first book Hope Amid Hardship: Pioneer Voices from Kansas Territory, is a collection of pioneer writings about the happy side of life in early Kansas and includes watercolor sketches throughout.  To learn more about Linda and her writing, please visit www.lindasjohnston.com
